Gtaw welder wanted in Chase County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Chase County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
