Cement mason wanted in Rutherford County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Rutherford County, North Carolina. You will be based on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
