CO2 welder wanted in Marion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Marion County, Iowa. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
