Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Iwo, Osun State. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
