Marble mason — City of Hopewell

Join our team: we are hiring a marble mason in City of Hopewell, Virginia. You will work at a kitchen worktop showroom. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Your main tasks: • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
