Now hiring: we are hiring a panel technician in Fauquier County, Virginia. You will be based in a smash repair workshop. Your main tasks: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection Ideal candidate: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
