Fabricator-welder wanted in Dawson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dawson County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
