Mining dozer operator wanted in Cape Girardeau County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. The job is at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Meals and transport allowance provided.
