Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Greene County, Mississippi. On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
