Vacancy available: safety inspector (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Woodford County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Overtime paid at a premium rate.
