Occupational health and safety officer • Saint Charles County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Saint Charles County, Missouri. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
