Domestic gas engineer wanted in Madera County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Madera County, California. You will work in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
