Stainless steel welder wanted in Ellis County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Ellis County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
