Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass cutter in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools 6+ years on the tools preferred. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
