Now hiring: we are hiring a smash repairer in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. You will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates. What we are looking for: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
