Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Stark County, North Dakota. The job is at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
