Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Rotherham, England. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
