The role involves mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling 4+ years on the tools preferred.
