We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Greater Bridgeport Planning Region, Connecticut. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
