Now hiring: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Pocahontas County, Iowa. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
