Retail butcher wanted in Richmond County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
