Glass and glazing technician — Northampton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Northampton County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. On the job you will handle: • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
