Automotive paint technician — Klickitat County

Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Klickitat County, Washington. On the job you will handle: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Requirements: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
