On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
