Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Montgomery County, Ohio. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
