Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Shiawassee County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
