Tile mason wanted in Isle of Wight

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Isle of Wight, England. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation The role involves: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
