We are recruiting: metal caster (Oyo State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Ogbomosho North, Oyo State. You will work on the moulding line. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 4+ years on the tools preferred.
