Gantry crane operator — Furnas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Furnas County, Nebraska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work Six days a week, one day off.
