Refrigeration service engineer — Yancey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Yancey County, North Carolina. You will work in an HVAC service company. You will wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; clean condenser and evaporator coils; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
