Occupational health and safety officer • Whitley County, Indiana

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Whitley County, Indiana. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
