Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Randolph County, Alabama. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
