Fabricator-welder — Winn Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Winn Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
