Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day to day you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request.
