Bike messenger wanted in Androscoggin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bike messenger in Androscoggin County, Maine. The job is at an e-commerce last-mile depot. On a typical shift you will weave through heavy traffic while keeping to delivery time slots; keep the delivery bag and box clean and hygienic for food orders; refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run; check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out; sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub. What we are looking for: • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Clean riding record with no major traffic violations • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
