Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Richland Parish, Louisiana. You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
