Counter butcher — Saint Landry Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
