Stacker operator — City of Harrisonburg

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stacker operator in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will be based in a large warehouse. Day to day you will shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely. You should have: • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
