Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Fountain County, Indiana. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
