Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Cleveland County, Arkansas. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
