Port container crane operator wanted in City of Leicester

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in City of Leicester, England. You will work on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 1+ years on the tools preferred.
