Industrial sewing operator — Decatur County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Decatur County, Iowa. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
