Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦270,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
