Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 5+ years on the tools preferred.
