Safety officer — Ifako/Ijaye

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Ifako/Ijaye, Lagos State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Your main tasks: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred.
