Bread baker — Newry Mourne and Down

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bread baker in Newry Mourne and Down, Northern Ireland. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics The role involves knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand.
