Join our team: counterbalance forklift operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counterbalance forklift operator in Borough of Tameside, England. You will be based at a busy distribution centre. Ideal candidate: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas Day to day you will assist with stock takes and cycle counting; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer £2,000 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
