Great opportunity: gas service engineer (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Brown County, Kansas. The role involves carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
