You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On a typical shift you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
