Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Chelan County, Washington. The job is at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Meals and transport allowance provided.
